HVAC Engineer

System Design:

• Design HVAC systems, considering factors such as load calculations, equipment selection, and energy efficiency.
  Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.

Installation Oversight:

• Supervise the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
  Conduct site visits to assess installation progress and address any issues that may arise.

Equipment Selection:

• Specify and select HVAC equipment, including air handling units, chillers, boilers, and other components, based on project requirements and efficiency considerations.
  Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance system performance.

System Testing and Commissioning:

• Conduct testing and commissioning of HVAC systems to verify functionality and performance.
  Collaborate with contractors and commissioning agents to resolve issues and ensure proper operation.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Provide ongoing support for HVAC systems, including troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
  Develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize system performance.

Energy Efficiency Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency in HVAC systems.
  Recommend and implement measures to reduce energy consumption and operational costs.

Code Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
  Stay informed about industry trends, standards, and best practices.

Documentation:

• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including system drawings, specifications, and reports.
  Maintain accurate records of system installations, modifications, and maintenance activities.
