Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:

Develop innovative and practical design solutions for products or systems based on project specifications, user needs, and regulatory requirements.
Create detailed design models, drawings, and prototypes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and quality goals.
Work on product iterations and improvements based on feedback, performance testing, and customer needs.
Prototyping & Testing:

Build prototypes to validate design concepts and test functionality, durability, and safety.
Work with prototyping teams to test and modify prototypes as needed to meet design specifications.
Conduct experiments and perform tests to validate product functionality, usability, and compliance with industry standards.
Analyze testing data and make necessary adjustments to designs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and efficient.
Work with quality assurance teams to ensure designs meet safety standards, regulations, and company quality expectations.
Liaise with supply chain and procurement teams to source materials and components needed for design.
Documentation & Compliance:

Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, reports, and change logs.
Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Assist in the preparation of design and engineering documentation for patent filings or regulatory approvals, as necessary.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Stay current with the latest design trends, materials, manufacturing techniques, and technologies.
Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance design efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Contribute to the development of design standards and best practices for the team.
