Job Description
Our qualified candidate would be responsible for maintaining & monitoring all the accounts of the group companies, assessing their current liabilities, and reviewing regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Company Secretarial:
- Keep track of changing regulations and help the company comply.
- Make certain that all tax forms are correct and have been filed to the required authorities on time
2. Bookkeeping:
- Payments are done on time (like salary and suppliers)
- Receivables are invoiced on time and tracked for receipt.
- Expenses documents are maintained
- Bank transactions are updated and reconciled for reporting
- Audit key documents and verify each transaction.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies as they arise, after checking out the causes for the same
3. Auditing Support
- Making financial reports that can help higher management in making decisions.
- Monthly reporting to the accounting firm is done by the due date.
- Report the documents and assist auditors in completing the annual auditing.
4. Systems:
- Manage IT accounting systems for up-to-date entries and reports.
- Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in the company cloud.
- Ensure that all transactions are well-documented.
Qualifications:
As an accountant, you are required to possess the following skill set in order to be able to provide your organization with the help it requires.
- Working experience in Accountancy for a minimum 2 years is mandatory.
- Knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks or Zoho Books
- A keen interest in finance or accounting
- Mathematical and analytical ability will be a plus.
- A thorough and methodological approach to work.
- Good IT skills to work with Excel and files.
- Has the ability to work as part of a team and believes in teamwork.
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills (comfortable with English)
