Scope of responsibility:

As team member in design & analysing piping systems.

Primary Duties:

• Preparation of stress critical line list.
• Stress analysis of piping systems through the use of Caesar II software and preparation of

stress analysis reports.

• Stress analysis of lines connected to rotating equipment Pump, compressors.
• Stress analysis of lines connected to Heat exchangers, column, Storage tanks, and Pressure

vessels.

• Rack piping analysis, Selection and sizing of expansion loops.
• Stress calculations for Thermal Anchor Movement, PSV reaction force & Trunnion

calculations. Flange leakage checks.

• Well versed with conducting FE Analysis of equipment nozzle.
• Stress isometric extraction from CAESAR and support mark-up on isometrics.
• Stress report preparation, documentation, maintaining stress checklist.
• Well versed with calculations for pipe wall thickness, reinforcement pads and others as per

the relevant piping codes and standards.

Well versed with the Standards ASME B31.3, B31.1
