Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Java AWS Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services and Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and DevOps principles to drive digital transformation and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using AWS services and Java technologies.
• Develop and implement microservices-based architectures and serverless applications.
• Define best practices for cloud adoption, security, and cost optimization.
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business needs.
• Lead the migration of existing applications to AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Guide development teams in implementing cloud-native applications and solutions.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and fault tolerance in cloud-based architectures.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation.
• Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide technical mentorship.
• Keep up to date with the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a solution architect role.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS, SQS, etc.).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Proficiency in designing cloud-native applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Expertise in API design, RESTful services, and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization (OAuth, SSO, IAM, etc.).
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate/Professional) or other relevant AWS certifications.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
• Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies.
