Data Business Analyst:

The Data Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing data-driven solutions, and delivering insights that support strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python, ETL processes, and experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Google Data Studio. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Design and develop OBIEE reports to support data-driven decision-making and business intelligence initiatives.

Generate insights from data, creating dashboards and reports using Power BI and Google Data Studio. -

ETL & Data Management:

Automate validation processes for over 1,000 tables using Python scripting, significantly reducing manual testing efforts by 90%. - Prepare SQL queries for DataStage jobs to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.

Requirements Gathering

Collaborate with client teams to analyze and understand business requirements, gathering user, functional, and non-functional requirements.

Translate gathered requirements into user stories for development teams

Agile Methodology

Engage in Agile project management practices, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Technology Integration

- Utilize AWS services to facilitate data management and analytics solution.

Work proficiently with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. -

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Data Business Analyst or similar role. -

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SQL and experience with writing complex queries for data analysis.

Strong knowledge of Python for data automation and validation.

Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.

Experience with Power BI and Google Cloud dashboards for data visualization.

Understanding of AWS services related to data analytics.
