Summary:As a Data Platform Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the data platform blueprint, ensuring cohesive integration between systems and data models. Your typical day will involve working with Google Cloud Platform Architecture and collaborating with Integration Architects and Data Architects.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and implement the data platform blueprint, encompassing the relevant data platform components.

Architect and design end-to-end data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform, focusing on data warehousing and big data platforms

Collaborate with clients, developers, and architecture teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective data solutions

Architect both batch and real-time data solutions, leveraging GCP services and technologies

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

Develop and maintain data architecture artifacts, including data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the data platform architecture and capabilities.

Design and implement DevOps strategy to deploy data services using IaC and other Automation tool Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform Architecture.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with Google Cloud Data Services, Confluent Event Streaming Platform, and Cloud Data Architecture.

Strong understanding of data platform architecture principles and best practices.

Experience in designing and implementing large-scale data platforms.

Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and data governance.

Extensive knowledge and implementation experience in data security and compliance requirements.

In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and related technologies.

Experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Beam, Apache Airflow, or Google Cloud Composer

Familiarity with advanced analytics, machine learning, and data science concepts

Experience in writing CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, Cloud SDK) Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of total IT experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a Data Architect role, supporting warehouse and big data platforms/environments

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Enterprise/Senior Data Architect role, including with Google Cloud data platforms

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.QualificationTotal 15 years of full time education
