Academic Counsellor

Location:

• Pune, Bengaluru, Jaipur
• (Work from Home initially, transitioning to Work from Office after office setup or possibility of being designated at a partnered college in any of these cities)

About the Role:

• We are seeking enthusiastic Associate Academic Counselors to join IIDE as we expand into Pune, Bengaluru, and Jaipur! This is a good opportunity to be part of IIDEs pioneering team during its exciting launch phase in these cities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and student success, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an interest in leadership. Youll guide students through IIDEs digital marketing courses, offer career advice, and work towards meeting sales targets.

• Initially, this role will be work from home, with the possibility of transitioning to a work from office setup as IIDE establishes its presence in these cities, or you may be designated to one of IIDEs partnered colleges in the future.

• Additionally, fluency in the regional language of your assigned city (e.g., Marathi for Pune, Kannada for Bengaluru, or Hindi for Jaipur) is essential for effective communication with prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Counseling & Guidance:
• Counsel students about IIDEs digital marketing programs via phone and online platforms.
• Provide career guidance and information to students and their parents.
• Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
• Mentor and support junior counselors in achieving their individual goals.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required, including leading larger student groups and managing escalations.
• Target Achievement & Reporting:
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly counseling targets.
• Track conversion rates and optimize performance using CRM and sales automation tools.
• Senior Counselor Responsibilities:
• As a senior counselor, manage complex queries, handle escalations, and contribute to setting standards for junior counselors.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in counseling or sales.
• Preferred: Experience in EdTech and familiarity with CRM tools.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Fluency in regional language (e.g., Marathi for Pune, Kannada for Bengaluru, Hindi for Jaipur).
• Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for sales and guiding students on their educational journeys.
