Factory Manager

Key Responsibilities-

Operations Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure production goals are met in terms of quality, quantity, and deadlines.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production staff, ensuring high levels of performance.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to employees to enhance skills and productivity.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for the team.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Quality Control:

• Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet industry and customer expectations.
• Address quality issues and work with the quality assurance team to resolve production-related problems.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Production Planning & Scheduling:

• Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., supply chain, sales) to align production with demand.
• Monitor machine utilization and ensure optimal uptime.

Cost Control & Budget Management:

• Monitor production costs and work to improve cost-efficiency.
• Develop and manage the factorys budget, ensuring financial targets are met.

Continuous Improvement:

• Lead and encourage continuous improvement initiatives within the factory to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare regular reports on production performance, downtime, quality, and inventory.
• Analyze data and propose solutions to improve operational performance.

Skills-

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a factory management role, preferably in manufacturing or retail fixtures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with regular hours.
• Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
