Job Description
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. You should have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.
Responsibilities : - Design and implement websites using WordPress .
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
- Build custom themes from scratch and enhance pre-built themes.
- Manage all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS.
- Ensure high-performance, availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Conduct website performance tests, monitor performance, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Implement responsive design for optimal mobile and tablet experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply best practices to projects.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP .
- Expertise in WordPress plugins and theme development .
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation .
- Strong understanding of WordPress APIs and hooks for custom development.
- Experience with WooCommerce and other WordPress-based eCommerce platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and optimization techniques.
- Understanding of MySQL and database management.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with site security, backups, and migration tools.
- Familiarity with Elementor , WPBakery , or other page builder tools.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) for front-end enhancements.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
- Experience with WordPress multisite setup and management.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Photoshop or Figma.
- Experience with website performance optimization (e.g., caching, CDNs, lazy loading).
1+ years of experience in WordPress development.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field (or equivalent experience).
