Chief Operating Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the companys operational functions and ensure efficient business operations. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other executives to implement company strategies, drive operational excellence, and maintain high levels of performance across all departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, a proven track record in operations management, and the ability to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Experience in Government tenders and bids is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams to enhance performance.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure the company’s operational policies and procedures are aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Manage the implementation of operational initiatives, including technology upgrades, process improvements, and resource optimization.
• Analyze operational data to generate insights, track KPIs, and drive decision-making.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the organization.
• Report on operational performance to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a similar senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of business operations, project management, and financial management.
• Knowledge of common contacts and government tenders will be a plus.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
