Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment:

  • Lead and manage the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to final selection.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring of suitable candidates.
  • Conduct interviews, screenings, and other selection processes.

2. Joining Formalities:

  • Oversee the seamless onboarding process for new hires.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are collected and processed.
  • Facilitate the orientation and induction programs for new employees.

3. Payroll Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries.
  • Maintain employee salary records and ensure all the deduction are applied correctly.

4. Statutory & Labour Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage the filing of necessary returns, statutory forms, and submission of compliance documents.

5. TDS on Salary Compliance:

  • Calculate and ensure correct deduction of TDS on employee salaries as per government regulations.

6. Maintaining Records of Loans and Advances:

  • Track employee loans, advances, and repayment schedules.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance in the record-keeping process.

7. Performance Appraisal System:

  • Manage and implement the performance appraisal process.
  • Work with department heads to set clear objectives, ensure regular reviews, and track employee progress.

8. Compliance Submission:

  • Ensure timely submission of all compliance-related documents and reports to government authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to labour laws, health & safety regulations, and other industry-specific requirements.

9. Salary Incentives and Bonus:

  • Administer employee incentive programs and manage the bonus structure.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of performance-based rewards and annual bonuses.

10. Third-Party Payroll:

  • Manage third-party payroll providers and ensure their accuracy and timeliness in payroll disbursements.
  • Review and reconcile third-party invoices for payment.

11. Policy Formation and Administering Code of Conduct:

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update company HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure adherence to the companys code of conduct and promote a healthy work environment.

12. Employee Engagement Activities:

  • Organize and execute employee engagement programs and team-building activities.
  • Regularly assess employee satisfaction levels and implement initiatives to enhance morale and work culture.

13. Exit Management:

  • Manage the entire exit process, including conducting exit interviews and handling resignation documentation.
  • Ensure a smooth transition and facilitate the timely return of company assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR management or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour laws, statutory regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven experience in managing a team (4-5 members)
