Job Role
- Purchase of Raw Material and Packing Material for Direct Procurement Group "A"
- Sourcing and New Vendor development
- Price negotiation
- Supplier finalization
- Logistics management
- Inventory management/ Distribution
- Responsible and accountable for bulk raw materials supply chain
- Proactive communication with plant and planning team.
- Arranging payments and managing suppliers account reconciliation along with Finance team.
- Trouble-shooting and problem solving to have smooth & uninterrupted RM and PM Supplies.
- Tracking market trends.
- Ensure that the sourcing process is robustly applied and further system discipline is followed.
- Creating MIS reports for management review
- Custom clearance and Port handling activities.
- Stock management to maximize profit as per opportunity and price trend.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in Direct Procurement, at least 2 years relevant experience in Bulk Chemicals procurement
