Job description-
Designation: Azure Database Architect
Experience: 8+ years
Education: A bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or any related field
Location: Ahmedabad, Bangalore

Roles & responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable databases on the Azure cloud platform.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
3. Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and other performance-enhancing strategies.
4. Implement and maintain data security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data.
5. Conduct thorough performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance overall system efficiency.
6. Work closely with application developers to integrate database functionality into applications seamlessly.
7. Participate in the design and implementation of data backup and recovery processes.
8. Stay abreast of the latest developments in database technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
9. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior database developers.

Requirement:

1. Experience in Azure Cloud platforms, MS-SQL Server2017+, MS SQL Azure, other Azure services like Synapse, Fabrick
2. Experience in SSIS and ADF, ETL Data processing techniques
3. Experience in High volume data processing and Data migration techniques
4. Good understanding of Database Modelling and Data warehousing
5. Proven work experience as a Database developer
6. Excellent in creating complex Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers
7. Excellent in solving database performance issues.
8. Experience in Power BI reporting
9. Excellent analytical and organization skills
10. Good verbal and written communication skills

Good to have:

1. My-SQL, PostgreSQL experience, NoSQL DB
2. Healthcare domain knowledge is a big plus.
3. Azure Cosmos DB
