Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Provide insights and financial advice to the management for strategic decision-making.
2. Financial Management:
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure effective cash flow management and optimization of working capital.
3. Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team to achieve organizational goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth within the department.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with taxation laws, statutory regulations, and financial audits.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
5. Risk Management:
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee risk assessment related to investments, acquisitions, and other financial activities.
6. Real Estate Expertise:
• Manage project-specific accounting, including cost allocation, revenue recognition, and funding.
• Handle client and project-specific financial arrangements in the real estate sector.

Requirements:

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification (CPA, CMA). MBA in Finance is a plus.
• Experience: 15-20+ years in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of real estate finance, project costing, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance in the real estate sector.
