Job Responsibilities

Human resources (HR) recruiters are responsible for finding and hiring the right people for a company, and their duties include:

• Developing recruiting plans: Collaborate with hiring managers to create plans and job descriptions that align with the company's goals
• Posting job openings: Advertise positions on the company's website, social media, job boards, and other platforms
• Finding candidates: Research new sources for talent, network with industry professionals, and attend job fairs
• Screening applicants: Review resumes and applications, and conduct reference checks
• Interviewing candidates: Interview candidates in person, by phone, or via video
• Making recommendations: Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Writing offer letters: Write offer letters and negotiate contracts
• Onboarding new hires: Act as a consultant to new hires and help them get started
• Tracking metrics: Monitor key HR metrics, such as time-to-fill and time-to-hire
• Building employer brand: Find and hire the right candidates to build a strong employer brand

HR recruiters need to have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and be proficient with software like HRIS and Performance Management Systems. They typically have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
