Job Title: Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management:

Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally Prime, ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and timely preparation of financial reports.

Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements as per company and regulatory standards.

Maintain cash flow and fund flow statements, ensuring optimal liquidity and financial health.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts on a periodic basis.

Monitor petty cash operations and ensure timely reconciliation.

2. Compliance & Taxation:

Prepare and file statutory returns, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax, on monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.

Ensure timely computation and payment of statutory dues such as TDS, GST, PF, ESI, and advance tax.

Address and resolve GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI notices, ensuring compliance and adherence to legal requirements.

3.Audit & Consultancy Support:

Collaborate with auditors and consultants by providing accurate and timely data for GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI audits and assessments.

Assist in internal and statutory audits by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and other necessary documentation.

4.Reconciliation & Reporting:

Conduct monthly reconciliations of debtors and creditors and follow up on discrepancies.

Generate and present MIS reports, budget forecasts, and other financial analyses required by management.

Ensure accurate maintenance and categorization of ledgers for receipts, payments, sales, and purchases.

5. Payment Verification & Processing:

Verify payment requests and supporting documents before authorizing transactions via cheques, NEFT, and RTGS.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring accurate entries and timely settlements.

6. Regulatory Updates & Process Improvement:

Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance requirements, implementing necessary adjustments.

Develop and refine financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Skills:

Proficiency in Tally Prime, advanced MS Excel, and accounting tools.

Experience handling tax and regulatory notices.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Experience:

6+ years of experience in a similar role, including exposure to compliance, audits, and financial analysis.

REMUNERATION:

Between 6.00 LPA and 9 LPA (depending upon relevant experience and capabilities)
