Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture (3-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer with 4 plus years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications using Java, Spring Boot, and a wide range of technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

This role will focus on building and integrating scalable backend services, ensuring high performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.

- Work with MySQL and Postgres databases for data management and storage solutions.

- Integrate AWS services for scalable cloud-based application development.

- Conduct performance testing and tuning to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development, test, and production environments.

- Continuously learn and implement new technologies to improve system performance and user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Java development.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Boot.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and deployment.

- Proficiency in relational databases, specifically MySQL and Postgres.

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python for scripting and integration purposes.

- Proven experience in performance testing and tuning of applications.

- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud integration.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g. , HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Certification in AWS or related technologies is a plus
