Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Qualifying Inbound Leads: Respond to and assess inbound inquiries, ensuring leads meet the target customer profile.
  • Needs Assessment: Understand client challenges and requirements to recommend tailored market research solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Provide expert advice on relevant market research services, such as surveys, focus groups, or data analysis.
  • Sales Presentations: Create and present customized proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • CRM Management: Use CRM tools to track leads, monitor sales pipeline, and log interactions.
  • Overcoming Objections: Address concerns about pricing, timelines, and service relevance to close deals.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Provide feedback to the marketing team to optimize lead generation and messaging.
  • Client Onboarding: Assist in transitioning new clients smoothly into the project phase post-sale.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to better serve clients.
  • Sales Reporting: Regularly report on performance metrics, sales progress, and client feedback to management.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with leads and present market research solutions.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Ability to listen to client needs and provide tailored, insightful solutions, rather than focusing on a one-size-fits-all approach.
  • Knowledge of Market Research: Familiarity with market research methodologies and tools (e.g., surveys, focus groups, data analysis) to confidently discuss services with clients.
  • CRM and Sales Tools Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools for tracking leads and managing sales activities.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Focus on building long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling or repeat business.
