Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and hardware.
- Perform regular database backups and ensure data recovery in case of failure.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies for optimal performance.
- Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with expertise in Oracle database administration (versions 11g, 12c, 19c, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and backup/recovery tools (RMAN).
- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM is a plus.
- Create, maintain, and optimize database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
- Implement and maintain database security, including user access management and encryption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and outages in a timely manner.
- Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine DBA tasks.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested regularly.
- Work closely with application developers to ensure proper integration between databases and applications.
