Manager Procurement and Contracts - Only From Real Estate Domain

Role & responsibilities

Review purchase requisitions, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness for the competitive bidding process.

• Obtain comparable quotes from various suppliers and prepare comprehensive comparative reports for review with the Head of Procurement.
• Maintain a working knowledge of purchasing processes, including purchase orders and purchase management.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports related to procurement activities.
• Stay updated about market trends, pricing, and new products, and conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and technologies.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data from various sources to inform procurement decisions.
• Effectively communicate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish pricing agreements. • Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met. • Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the purchase department, specifically in the real estate or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
