About the role:
- As the Marketing Strategist & Creative Lead, you will be joining our early-stage team as the first marketing hire.
- This role will involve shaping the PAWS brand identity, positioning it as a trusted name in fresh pet food.
- You will have the opportunity to drive brand growth through creative and data-driven strategies, innovative campaigns, and partnerships within the pet community.
What You Will Be Doing?
- Brand Strategy: Develop and implement brand strategies that align with our mission and vision, emphasizing quality, innovation, transparency, and sustainability.
- Creative Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute innovative marketing campaigns across social media and digital platforms to enhance brand visibility.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging content that educates pet owners about nutrition and fresh food diets.
- Marketing Strategy: Build data-driven marketing plans that are responsive to trends, optimize ROI, and expand our reach.
- Process-Driven Optimization: Design and implement structured workflows to enhance marketing efficiency, ensuring that campaigns are impactful, measurable and scalable across all digital platforms.
- Partnerships & Community Building: Identify influencers and partners to foster a community of pet advocates.
- Multi-Hat Role: Collaborate on startup tasks, including customer engagement, market research, and product development.
What You Bring to the Table?
- 3+ years experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, or content creation
- A passion for pets and a keen interest in pet health and wellness
- The ability to think creatively and execute innovative ideas with a high level of autonomy
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
- Digital-First Mindset: Strong expertise in digital marketing trends, social media algorithms, and engagement tactics to create highly impactful campaigns
- Quantitative Approach: Ability to leverage data analytics and set up systems to measure and optimize marketing performance across digital channels
- 4+ years experience in creating visually compelling narratives and content that resonates with a diverse audience and clearly communicates the brand's mission.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment where roles can evolve, with the agility to pivot and tackle a range of responsibilities.
