About client - Our client is an Indian multinational paint company , based in Kolkata. This company has 16 manufacturing units in India,
Job Title: Assistant Area Sales Manager (AASM) - Project Sales
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
- Drive institutional sales through government projects, architects, builders, contractors, and consultants.
- Identify and secure new project orders.
- Develop business opportunities and maintain key accounts.
- Expand the network of business partners.
- Engage with builders, architects, and contractors.
- Manage government projects, PWD, CPWD, RMD; including tendering, obtaining approvals, meeting with government officials, price negotiation, and delivering presentations.
- Maintain strong connections with government personnel.
- Flexibility to conduct client visits on weekends.
- Potential supervision of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in project sales of building materials to builders, architects, and contractors.
- Maximum age of 36 years.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in project sales.
- Strong network and connections in the building materials industry.
- Proven ability to manage government projects and engage with government officials.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Flexibility to conduct client visits on weekends.
- Leadership skills to potentially manage a team.
