Job Description

  • Sales Development : Generate leads through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.
  • Share Insights for Product Development : Collect detailed insights from customers and effectively communicate them to the product teams for informed decision-making and product improvements.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Build strong relationships with prospects and customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed throughout the sales process.
  • Pipeline Management : Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking leads, opportunities, and deals through each stage
  • Negotiation and Closing : Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Metrics and Reporting : Monitor sales metrics such as conversion rates, revenue growth, and customer acquisition costs. Provide regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with sales in the events/catering industry, and preferably an MBA.
  • Industry Knowledge : Prior understanding of or experience with the catering and event management industry, with a strong network of industry contacts and relationships.
  • Proven Sales Experience : Demonstrated success in sales, primarily in the events and catering industry, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership and Collaboration : Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Customer-Centric Approach : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers, understanding their needs and delivering solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Google suite of productivity applications (Gmail, Gcalendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Slack.
