Customer Relationship Management : Build strong relationships with prospects and customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed throughout the sales process.
Pipeline Management : Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking leads, opportunities, and deals through each stage
Negotiation and Closing : Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
Metrics and Reporting : Monitor sales metrics such as conversion rates, revenue growth, and customer acquisition costs. Provide regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience with sales in the events/catering industry, and preferably an MBA.
Industry Knowledge : Prior understanding of or experience with the catering and event management industry, with a strong network of industry contacts and relationships.
Proven Sales Experience : Demonstrated success in sales, primarily in the events and catering industry, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Leadership and Collaboration : Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Customer-Centric Approach : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers, understanding their needs and delivering solutions.
Experience with Salesforce.com, Google suite of productivity applications (Gmail, Gcalendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Slack.
