Executive / Senior Executive - Credit Control

Job Summary:
You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of client accounts. Your primary responsibilities include following up with clients for pending dues, resolving disputes and queries, preparing management information system (MIS) reports, monitoring credit limits, coordinating with various departments, and achieving collection targets.

Job Role and responsibilities:
1. Initiate and maintain regular follow-ups with clients to ensure timely payment of outstanding dues.
2. Coordinate with the Sales and Key Account Management (KAM) teams to resolve any disputes or queries related to invoices and payments.
3. Prepare and maintain various Management Information System (MIS) reports, providing insights into accounts receivable, aging analysis, and collection trends.
4. Regularly follow up with clients to obtain balance confirmations and reconcile statements to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial transactions.
5. Analyze credit periods and credit limits for clients to identify accounts exceeding established limits or periods.
6. Coordinate with Operations / Customer service to ensure that invoice accuracy and timelines and timely submission of invoices.
7. Work diligently to achieve collection targets set by the organization.

Skills :
1. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
2. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
3. Analytical skills to assess credit limits and identify discrepancies.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
6. Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in credit and collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
