Hiring For Business Development Manager - Ocean Export

Job Role and responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Effectively search prospective clients and convert sales leads for our range of Export Service. (International Freight Forwarding Ocean Export)
• Develop and propose client specific solutions after initial scoping to fulfil Client requirements. The ability to develop client presentations and excel pricing models is a must-have
• Work with internal stakeholders including Account Management Team, Operations team and Technology teams to offer the best solutions to the clients
• Manage end-to-end client relationship including pitching, solutions, negotiation, contracting, invoicing, payment collection, result tracking and troubleshooting
• Ensure daily reporting as per the tools made available from time to time and timely and accurate updating of account data in existing sales CRM systems
• Retain and grow business from existing merchants through Renewals, Up-sell, Cross-sell, etc
• Understanding of unit economics, P&L for pricing will be required. Experience in Account
• Management in Logistics/Operations background will be an added advantage.

• Self-driven. You have superior Business Development skills, integrity and great follow-through on tasks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good communication skill is a must
• Decent excel skills and understanding of P&L
• Ability for quick decision making and working independently

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Strong knowledge of the Ocean freight industry, including market trends, competitors, and regulations.
• Proven track record of developing new business and growing existing accounts.
• MBA with minimum 4 Plus years of experience in Ocean freight sales or business development.
