Key Skills And Competencies We Are Looking For :

- Storytelling : Novel and creative approach to opportunity narratives of the present or future, leveraging metaphors, analogs, using very abstract thinking to help connect insight to story in unique ways

- Design : UX / UI Design tool proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, others

- Innovation : Knowledge of or interest in topics of the future (e.g., Generative AI, Accessible experiences, Equity-centered Design, Sustainability) and an ability to connect them to their impact on individuals, the firm, or our clients, and their stakeholders

- Research, Strategy, and Product : Human Centered Design Research, Business Case Development, Go-To-Market Planning, Market Sizing, New Venture / New Business Opportunity Development and Launch Planning, New Venture Sustainment, Business Model Innovation, Product Strategy and Product Management

Must-have Qualifications :

- Masters degree in Design or equivalent field

- 2- 4 years of experience within UX / UI, Human-Computer Interaction, applied research, or product design and research

This role demands a critical and strategic thinker who keeps abreast of emerging trends in both business strategy and design, and who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into broader business strategies. Our Strategic Designers play a pivotal role in shaping competitive advantage through innovative and visually compelling design strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Shape compelling business cases for human-centered solutions by delving into market dynamics, understanding customer desires, and highlighting unique value propositions.

- Create compelling visual representations, including journey maps, personas, and prototypes, to communicate design concepts and strategies effectively.

- Define and develop concepts and prototypes of products, services, and experiences at varying levels of fidelity - often by guiding a small team that may include designers with varying kinds of expertise.

- Perform analyses on return on investment (ROI) to gauge the viability and potential advantages of strategic initiatives, ensuring they align with human centered goals.

- Understand the technology landscape and build digital strategies to uncover new sources of value and opportunities.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.

- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients based on industry best practices and emerging trends.
