Honestly speaking I am philosopher in my thought process. So I answered what I feel really. I don't believe in materialistic set of success, but I believe in making impact on people and project rather than making some numbers. But then as the PM you have to take care of your numbers. So what you need is a balance. Now failure is something which is more commonly available than success. Think about a situation when you desired something very badly, perhaps the love letter from the most beautiful girl in your class, but he decided to go out with your best friend. You definitely felt bad, perhaps you were out of your mind for few months... But then? You recovered, right? And you are still alive and kicking. So? Any failure, no matter how you define it, will pass! You will have a next chance. Don't waste it for the sake of an lost opportunity. Move on. - Yes, I have answered it in this line :-)
