Round 2 - Aptitude Test

It was online. It contains I think 50 question and I got enough time to solve them, may be 1hour I think. Question was normal, not that much difficult, like SSC CGL. There was one another test followed by aptitude test i.e personality test. Also online, that contains situation based questions, designed to know your approach to deal with the problem. Sometimes either we try to solve the problem or sometime we try to avoid the problem.

Round 3 - HR

(2 Questions)

  • Q1. About your past experience, and current location. HR will invite you to Mohali for next round.
  • Q2. Just common well known questions. Like tell me about yourself.
Round 4 - Technical

  • Q1. Alot of questions, from engineering actually, but most of them are designed to know the candidate's foundational knowledge about engineering.
  • Q2. Types of material that we can use to design a SPM.
  • Ans.

Various materials such as metals, plastics, ceramics, and composites can be used to design a SPM.

    • Metals like steel and aluminum are commonly used for strength and durability

    • Plastics like ABS and PVC are used for their lightweight and corrosion resistance

    • Ceramics like alumina and zirconia are used for their high temperature resistance

    • Composites like carbon fiber and fiberglass offer a combination of strength and light w

  • Q3. Types of bearings.
  • Ans.

Bearings are components that allow for smooth rotation or movement between two parts.

    • Types of bearings include ball bearings, roller bearings, plain bearings, and fluid bearings.

    • Ball bearings use balls to reduce friction between two surfaces.

    • Roller bearings use cylindrical rollers to support radial and axial loads.

    • AC motors: Alternating current motors that use alternating current to produce rotational motion.

    • Stepper motors: Motors that move in precise increments or steps.

    • Servo motors: Motors that use feedback to control the position and speed of the motor.

  • Q5. Motors selection criteria
  • Ans.

Motors selection criteria involve factors like power requirements, speed, torque, size, efficiency, and cost.

    • Consider power requirements for the specific application

    • Determine the required speed and torque for the motor

    • Take into account the size constraints of the motor

    • Evaluate the efficiency of the motor to minimize energy loss

    • Compare costs of different motor options

  • Q6. Bearings selection criteria (Basic operations of cnc vmc, manufacturing processes, modern manufacturing processes like, 3d printing)
  • Q7. Basically selection process and basic calculations based on which you decide a bought out item like bearings motor, bush etc..
  • Q8. Industry 4.0 IOT Machine learning Ai
  • Q9. A concept to a specific problem by design change (that problem may vary from person to person)
Round 5 - Skill Test

(1 Question)

  • Q1. (skill test basically designed to check your drawing reading capability. If you can read the drawing than surely you can make drawing.) In skill test u will get a 2d drawing to read first and than u have t...
