Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - It was good experience

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: I wasn't thinking of joining there, Came along with a friend, so thought of giving it a try, Got my resume shortlisted and was asked to attend the second round.
Tips: Be bold. Want something?, ask them, You wont be disappointed. Try to be more energetic when you talk, make the interviewer smile, you'll get through !!!

Round: Test
Experience: You'll get connected to someone in USA, through a phone call, That person will interview you.
Tips: Try to be yourself, feel free, he/she is also a person like you , talk freely, but listen to what they're asking, response is yours , don't worry about your answer. Make them smile or try to make them think that it'd be fun to work with you.
Duration: 1 hour

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Friendly people, They'll ask you something familiar, "tell about yourself". I told them about me , my passion and all those stuffs, Again left the place looking them smile.
Tips: When this question is asked, many will tell something different like what they want to be, Just tell them whatever you feel at that moment . Feel Nervous, just let them know, They ain't gonna think bad!!!.

Experience: First round was aptitude test organised by our college through AMCAT
It had 4 section –
1. English – 25 questions (25 minutes)
2. Quantitative – 25 questions (35 minutes)
3. Technical – 25 questions (35 minutes)
4. Logical – 24 questions (35 minutes)
Practice previous Amcat papers. Technical was mostly from data structure and algorithm. There were very basic questions from Operating System and SQL. Each section had individual cut off . It was adaptive test so you can not go back to your previous answer.
Tips: If you are good in basics then you can easily score well in AMCAT.There is no negative marking in AMCAT.You have to manage time as some of the questions are lengthy.Follow R.S.Aggarwal book.

Round: Test
Experience: This round is elimination round and your programs will be considered for technical round. There were 2 C/C++/Java programming questions and you need to type the program, compile and submit. Some hints will be on the screen. This test is conducted by Aspiring Minds. You have to focus on basics programming. There were two questions.One question from pattern printing and other one from array/pointer/String.
Tips: Focus on basic programming
Duration: 20 minutes
Total Questions: 2

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Thorough discussion about the projects. My major work was on Advance Java, so the interviewer kept on grilling me. Questions on the database, challenges faced, control flow were asked. She even asked me about the implementation of my project. The interview ended with some questions on OOPs concepts.
Tips: Prepare both the programs which have been asked in Programming test. You are surely going to face this question. Prepare well with Logics.Apart from that you need to focus on C/Data Structure/DBMS/Basics of Operating System/Basics of OOPS.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: This was end of d interview, thankfully I was able to answer all of them. I was the first candidate to enter .

General Tips: Focus on basics. The "basic" is most difficult to cover :D So Prepare well and be Confident

Experience: The overall experience was great! they read the application form and ask questions on your hobbies as well as strong and weak points
Tips: write your strengths and areas of improvement in the form well. make sure you know how to tackle questions asked based on your hobbies and strenght

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: the difficulty level of the technical round is based on the panel. Some ask easy questions. they ask the basic concepts of the subects you have studied throughout the engineering course
Tips: Be very careful while writing your string subjects. they will ask in depths about the subjects. when you are rating your skills, make sure you don't go beyond intermediate for programming language unless you are an expert at it.

General Tips: keep the resume format precise
