Since my role was Customer facing and as single point of contact. I got an invite for discussion on an old pending issue. The issue was known to me and I had already followed up on it multiple times with responsible team and even with the customer, but we all know customer is customer and in my case one AVP(Sir) I still respect him alot was not ready to listen a single word from me and applying SLA penalty on project so the argument got very heated. Later I asked him to give me two days time to come up with the answers he wanted to hear. In two days I collected all the proofs from my end and called my bosses and explained about the issue and whole situation. I planned the meeting and this time my bosses were also part of it and they answered all the points on my behalf and thats how I was able to avoid penalty and kept my organisation and my teams repo with the customer.
