Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - It starts with a Linkedin message from Kamatchi Yoganathan (Talent Acquisition) in Feb. I then get a call post my response to take things forward. One telephonic round leads to another and then we are in an interview with Head of Content, Purba and Kamatchi. Once done, I get another phone call after a few days to schedule another round of video interview to discuss work samples. Purba, acting pretty gung ho wants me to forward samples. Apparently the company is aggressive about an email campaign around SAP and wants me to send samples of the work done along the same lines with my current organization, which I do. Samples sent right after the call by email on 27th Feb.

One week goes by, 2 weeks go by, a month has passed and NO response. I guess, it doesn't get more Ghosted than this. Fast forward to April and I see that the HR recruiter of Korcompentz is lurking around on my Naukri profile. Strange. And then what, same day I get a call from Kamatchi. It's April 30th. Conveniently asking if I am interested and pretending like they didn’t just DISAPPEAR for more than 2 months. Gives a vague insincere excuse of “putting the position on hold.” Oh! So, they didn’t think of keeping the candidate in the loop or having the courtesy to just email the candidate all along. I smell BS and realize that the CEO (Prakash), upper management and the hiring team follow scummy practices and lack an ethical spine.

In actuality, what transpired was the cheaper candidate they went with dusted out. They settled for someone else and that backfired. Now, they are scurrying around to make this work with candidates they didn’t want. Classless despicable organization all around. Stay away and don’t waste your time and effort - you’ll be abandoned before you know it. And if it doesn't work out with others, they'll come out of obscurity and act all friendly to get you back. Steer Clear of Korcomptenz!!!
