Experience: The panel consisted of three interviewers and they asked me about my minor project and subjects of interests.Some questions were asked from digital communication specifically from the modulation part.What is a digital signal and its physical meaning.Some question were asked from antenna and microwave.As majority of TCIL project are outside india so they ask you if you will have any problem getting a posting in middle east or african countries.If you will answer these simple questions and show genuine interest in the company then you can get selected.

Experience: There was one round Technical cum HR Interview
For technical
The questions were on basics of power systems(Undergraduate stuff) but more oriented towards PGCIL work that is related to Transformers,Generators,Transmission lines etc.
Apart from this basic knowledge of HVDC were tested.also questions were asked related to the indian powergrid like voltage levelsuse of phasor ,measurement units,Interconnection of grids, major HVDC links etc.
For HR
They asked about my hobbies,schooling etc.general HR questions ,nothing peculiar
Tips: 1.Focus on the Basics of power systems(mostly undergraduate level)
2.Also go through reports(Technical,about future plans,enquiry reports of grid collapse) which found on PGCIL website and other websites like ministry of power,CERC etc.

General Tips: One has to be very confident and relaxed
Skill Tips: They will see how your knowledge in power systems help PGCIL .so Focus on topic related to PGCIL like Generators,Transformers,Transmission lines etc.
