SAP Labs Interview Experience | On-Campus | SAP Basis Consultant
I participated in SAP Labs' 2025 placement drive at Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) for the SAP Basis Consultant role. The process included three rounds: an aptitude + CS fundamentals test, a group discussion (GD), and a technical + HR interview.
In the GD, I confidently initiated the discussion on "Being Famous vs Being Knowledgeable," supporting my points with examples. During the interview, I discussed my resume, internship experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma ORM, and machine learning models like Random Forest Regression. I also explained my problem-solving approach and adaptability to new technologies.
I was one of the five students selected, and it was a great learning experience. My advice to future aspirants: Be thorough with your resume, practice aptitude and CS fundamentals, and work on communication skills.

The online test was scheduled on 10:00 AM. Total 304 students were eligible who appeared for the test. 93 students were shortlisted in this round. MCQs were asked and two coding question

Round difficulty - Medium
It was technical interview round, which was purely based on coding followed by 1 SQL query. Duration of round was of 1 hour from 10 AM-11AM. Interviewer asked me 2 Coding questions one to solve and run on Hackerrank codepair platform and for another one she asked only my approach to solve problem. In the remaining last 10 minutes interviewer asked me 1 SQL query on JOIN. Total 28 students were shortlisted in this round.

Firstly had a phone call conversation with an HR,
we fixed a date for a video call interview.
First-round was a managerial interview round with two managers.
The interview went smoothly.
I was told to wait for another round with a senior manager.
Second-round with a senior manager on the same day.
Again, everything went smoothly.
Got a call the next day with an offer of joining.
Firstly had a phone call conversation with an HR,
