Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: The resume was selected on terms of career mark, MBA performance , personal achievements or you can say that the candidates selection was done on the basis of their Resume.
Both experience and freshers were shortlisted.

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: It was a shock to all, none was prepared for such GD topic we were not aware what the recruiter was looking for, why such topic?
When we had so many hot topics going on, trumps legacy, modi's expensive trips, but we got this topics.
For the first 10 min, every candidate was given a min to talk about his/her idea.
later on the second half we had to defend our reasons and show that why this idea was better and feasible then others.
Last few minutes was for the feedback session, where the recruiters told us what could have been better and what are their final thoughts.
Tips: Give true answers, it might not be unique but you should be able to back it up with plans and facts.
Never give random answer like opening a liquor restaurant with that money.
Duration: 30 minutes

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: The question varied for each candidates as some where experienced/ freshers/ bba/b-tech.
They wanted to see how dedicated the person is, by asking past work experience they wanted to see if he really did worked, was he able to learn something or not.

People who were freshers were asked about their MBA life, their subject knowledge.
Tips: You should have sound knowledge about the things you mention on your resume,if you don't know something don't note it down on your resume.

Skills: Learning Ability, Attitude, Personality, Interpersonal Skills, Communication And Confidence

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Sent resume to an HR through Linkedin and got the call for interview

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Had 3 rounds of technical interviews with Product Owner, Product Manager and VP Product. Most of the questions were related to maths, statistics and a few on machine learning. Even though I did not have much background on these, I was asked to give my inputs and try to find a solution. We discussed recommendation engines for Quora, Linkedin and e-commerce websites. Then they asked me how can we remove the bias that comes in the practo ratings of the doctors due to feedback from various channels. How can we identify if the customer is booking an appointment by looking at reviews or ratings? How can we identify spam reviews before publishing them? How can we build a product which can help users write a better quality review? Most of the questions were related to data science and how we can improve the products using data. The data analyst role for which I was being interviewed, was a first of its kind role in Practo. The JD was to basically work with the product team and help them in improving products, building new features etc. using data science/ data analytics.
