Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I applied twice for the position at DRIM Global, the HR with Name displaying as Sarvamangla in whatsapp (not sure if she's really at DRIM but she was able to show me photos of my application details, so I assume may be she is), she's extremely rude. After schedluing and confirming to appear for interview at 12 Noon on 25th June 2024, there is no call back or follow up.
After 2-3 months again I happen to apply via Instagaram, as I'm still looking for job, without realising that I'm applying for the same company, as I'm randomly applying to many jobs. This same lady again messages me in whatsapp asking if I'm really interested. In return I ask her why there was no callback in spite of confirming availability on 25th June 2024. She twists my question and puts the blame on my head saying I didn't confirm availability, putting up a jist of the whatsapp conversation here between me and her in June 2024:
Her: 12 Noon tomorrow you'll be available?
Me: Yes, I will keep myself avaialble at 12 Noon tomorrow
Her: If you are not available tomorrow, then this will be rejected. Are you working somewhere?
Me: No no, tomorrow I will be surely available as today I'm traveling somewhere. Tomorrow 12 Noon right?
Her: Yes dear
Me: Done
Given above is simple English communication from June 2024, I also have the screenshots preserved as evidence. With above conversation, she says I did not confirm availability. Really? This made me question her whether really the hiring is going on? As after providing confirmation from my end also, I didnt get call back, to this she started replying rudely because the fault was from her end. She cannot accept her fault, as it will hurt her EGO. Also possible, the HRs hired are not that fluent in English, due to local language fluency might have been hired.
Disgusting experience in the very initial conversation itself, wonder what my condition would be if I really joined this Organization. My question is: how can HR professional talk like this while seeking candidate? Or is the company itself training their HRs to spew hatred and rudeness in the process of seeking candidates??
