CTE is a temporary result set defined within the execution scope of a single SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, or CREATE VIEW statement. Subquery is a query nested within another query.
CTE stands for Common Table Expression and is defined using the WITH keyword.
CTEs can be referenced multiple times in a query.
