I am completely agreed and considerate with the dignified and special place any mother tongue has in a moulding and shaping a child's thought and ideas. But I also find English a very important subject as a language because it is globally acknowledged and one has to atleast understand and acquire it in order to grow with this world's trend. So each language should be learnt by giving equal stress and importance.
