Examples of demonstrative adjectives: This book is mine. That book is yours.
Both pronouns and adjectives have four forms: this, that, these, and those.
Demonstrative pronouns emphasize the noun they replace, while demonstrative adjectives provide additional information about the noun.

If this, that, these ,those are coming just before a noun than these words are considered as an adjective. Ex. These pens.

If these words are being used on the place of noun than these are considered as pronoun. Ex. These are my pens.
