Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The test was a detailed test on checking my understanding of language & english, plus the ability to write good copy.
Tips: practice writing & good language skills
Duration: 1 hour
Total Questions: 5

Round: HR Interview
Experience: I showed them my articles for newspapers & my blogs on fashion & travel. Plus my writing for the test - they read it & were insecure if I can work with them or not.
Tips: Always be clear about your expertise & CTC. If you are over qualified dont downplay yourself just to fit into their set up. Also dont give answers to please them - be honest about your skills & abilities & show all the work you've done. If they want you - they will decide accordingly.

Round: Behavioural Interview
Experience: Was being observed & questioned by kids at least 10 years younger than me
Tips: Dont give in to the pressure. Be calm & confident. If you need the job bad enough - you can tell them you are ok with it & are adpatable. Are willing to adjust & work with youngsters.

New Job Anxiety?
Hey all I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job. I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work. I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week. Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure. With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything. Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety
