Round: Technical Interview
Experience: After the customary " Tell my about Yourself" and "Why Barclays?", I was asked about my previous internship ( which was in IT domain ) and an android game that I had made. I just explained both of them completely and gave the interviewer a demo of my game.
Tips: Having points in your resume (projects, internships etc.) that prove your coding aptitude definitely helps. Explain everything completely with full clarity along with all the steps you took, the things you learned and most importantly the difficulties faces and how you overcame them. ( I spoke for 15 to 20 mins straight)

General Tips: Speak confidently and be positive. Also shake your interviewer's hand.
Skill Tips: You mostly wont be tested on coding if you have projects as a proof of your skill.

Experience: I read a book on derivatives (John C Hull)….I told the interviewer that I liked derivatives and wanted a structuring profile at DB.They were not expecting such an answer and the rest of the interview was on derivatives. I gave correct answers to most of them and had right approach for the others.

General Tips: Read up options and futures, John Hull and if you somehow put that point across in the interview, you are almost in. However, this approach is risky as reading the book takes lot of time and and also once you mention this, they grill you with questions on advanced concepts.

Experience: There was no Group Discussion. I was an Only interview process. There were two rounds of interviews. Not many HR questions were asked,

Experience: I had brushed up the fundamentals of basic accounting, corporate finance and Coporate Valuation well and had revised my academic projects. I had also tried to follow-up my sector of interest regularly and also had some stock picks which helped a lot.

General Tips: The first round was completely based on accounting and valuation. A thorough revision of accounting and corporate valuation should be sufficient.The second round was a CV based round. Revise your CFA and FRM subjects in case you have mentioned them in your CV. I was quizzed a lot on my academic projects, the sector that I followed and general macro economic events (monetary policy, rupee depreciation, euro zone etc).
