Round: Technical Interview
Experience: After answering, they sighed at the knowledge I had, telling what the college taught me would barely get me through a days work, however they were glad as they could mould me from scratch.
Tips: What our academy teaches us and what we need are on a completely different level. When siting for an interview just be sure to show them how keen you are towards learning and how dedicated and interested and hardworking you can be. Show them your thirst.

- Q1. - Programming question on Graph Theory.
- Q2. - Programming concepts of Dynamic Programming.
- Q3. - Puzzle based question on Speed & Distance.
- Q4. One algorithm based question which applied to how Storage Systems can function with more efficiency, as EMC is a storage company.
- Q5. Questions based on technical projects which had been mentioned on resume.
- Q6. Quick discussion with HR after technical questions who asked for availability duration of internship.
- Q7. Questions related to architecture of some of Storage protocols.
- Q8. Design based question on what would be the approach if a product needs to be architected to solve problems in storage industry.
Interview Preparation Tips
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: It was a Skype Interview - there were two programming questions of moderate difficulty. It was followed by a puzzle based question. I was able to get all three correct, followed which the interviewer inforned me that they would let me know about my selection for the next rounds. I was informed in the evening after a few hours that I would be called to their Bangalore office for the next round of Interviews.
Tips: Be strong on advanced programming concepts such as DP. Brush your logical and analytical skills too before this round.
Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: It was an HR cum technical round and I was asked one algorithm based question along with questions related to my projects. I was able to answer most confidently. The HR asked me about my family background and duration of internship for which i would be available.
Tips: Be confident, do a little research on Storage concepts as well.
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: This round was conducted by a senior engineer who worked in the same team for which I was being considered. It was more design and analytical based.
Tips: Sharpen your design and product architecture skills.
Skills: OOAD, Data Structures , Algorithms , Computer Architecture , Java, Design Patterns

Interview Preparation Tips
Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Students were shortlisted based on academic performance and overall profile
Tips: Maintain a high CGPA
Round: Group Discussion
Experience: A problem statement was given to each participant. Extra points for candidates who started/concluded the GD. The case study was regarding a factory, which had to produce X bottles in two weeks, but faced a quality issue in the past. By addressing the quality issue, the production would get delayed. Participants had to discuss to come up with a solution. Out of 11 participants, 3 were selected for the next round.
Tips: Talk boldly and clearly. Try to come up with new ideas to solve the problem.
Duration: 40 minutes
Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: The technical questions were purely practical based. I was grilled on my internships, project and fundamentals of electrical engineering.
Tips: No one can ace an HUL technical interview. The interviewer will purposely throw difficult questions and make you feel like a big loser during the interview. Never get succumbed to that. Try to answer as many questions as possible, and don't get stressed out.

Experience: The shortlisted members were divided into groups and given a choice of selecting one web language (SASS,BOOTSTRAP,COFFEESCRIPT,ANGULAR.JS,NODE.JS,,etc.).
We are given a choice of selecting own idea implementation and should be done on selected web language

Experience: i was interviewed for 20 min and the questions were on Logical and technical.
