Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The tests are really easily.
Tips: Not much preparation is required if you are good at English and have good communication skills. It would be better if you tune your brain to solving puzzles before doing the test by trying some for an hour or so before the test..
Duration: 90 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: They didn't ask any technical questions for my interview and if they do ask you any they are just testing how you are going to respond to them and see how clear you are in giving out information. Basically they are just testing your communication skills and if you can prove useful to them in terms of learning ability.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: They asked me about myself and my background including family related information. They asked me questions regarding how i would deal with situations. For example, how i would improve sales and production for a product if
the job was given to me on the spot. He gave me a minute to think. I took half a minute and told him what i would do and he was impressed by my quick thinking (another factor which they are looking for).
Tips: They are very friendly during the interview and so there is not much reason to be nervous. In fact they helped me speak more freely than i thought i would.
Intense preparation is not required.
Act normal during the interview.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: There were primarily two sections.General quant and english skills. Passages in english sections were quite long.
Quant mostly consisted of DI type of questns. The difficulty level was that of CAT level.
Tips: Any CAT book is sufficient enough to practice.
Duration: 140 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: They asked mostly general questions like describing yourself and about your family background. They might ask you to speak on any topic for a few minutes.
I loved the interview. It was for about 15 mins. They tried to stress me a bit by pointing out my CGPA and etc but i could counter them.
Tips: Basically I believe they check out your communication skills. And they might demotivate you by citing many other opportunities. Just stay focussed under any situation.
Know your resume well if you face the panel. Don't just write anything or copy paste..control your nerves in the interview and i am sure you will succeed.

Skill Tips: If you really want to join this company then after clearing the apti just stay focused at the interview and show them that you are determined to join infosys. This is a good company for low scoring students. ALL THE BEST!!!
