Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: There were 3 sections.First section was English consisting of comprehensive passages, synonyms.Second section was quant and it's very easy.Third section they asked basic C questions. In total there were 65 questions.25 english,25 quant,15 C.
Duration: 75 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: The person who interviewed me happened to be a mechanical engineer, so it went quite like a informal talk with small small mechanical, aptitude related questions. My interview went about half an hour.It started off with tell me about yourself, one two small mechanical related questions and then about the 3 idiots movie, asked me if we can really implement what Amir khan said. Then he asked me a situational question- What would u do to a rickshaw fellow if you were hit by him after the accident(first he describes the scene and then asks the question). To be frank it was a friendly discussion with satires!

Round: HR Interview
Experience: They didn't stress much on the HR interview. It was just taken as a formality and they told me about the pay allowances, location, service agreement.

Skill Tips: No preparation is needed for aptitude section. Just stay cool and present what you are but never talk about higher education.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: Quant and verbal sections were very easy, out of the 15 c++ questions, 5 were repeated, so effectively 10 questions, standard of c++ questions was also very easy.
Duration: 65 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: I was asked some questions about probability theory, a couple of standard maths n reasoning questions. the interviewer was very friendly, but did try to confuse a bit, like everybody else... but overall, interview was a lot easier than the other companies i had sat 4, like Michelin, UBS, gs, oracle, etc.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The HR guy was a real nutbreaker.. Actually he is a funny guy, but he acted really scarily and darkly during the interview. He asked me whether i would be able to work nite shifts, whethr i wud b able to relocate at any of their offices in Hyd, Delhi,Mumbai n Chennai. I said yes, but i would prefer not mumbai since there the cost of living is a bit high. Then he said no, the company doesn't care what u prefer, which was v.rude. but i said ok, as it is, location wise , i have no problems. Then he asked if i had applied to any other company and if i had given CAT, n i neatly sidestepped those questions, as is the usual custom. that was it. He went on to inform me about training duration(6 months-5 day week, may be night shifts, and no holidays during the initial 6 months). posting would be their choice. Evaluation is yearly, with promotion after 2 years.
