Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: I talked second and took a stance of defence with development. I tried to talk intermittently for a duration of approx 40 sec each time and for a total of 5 times.
Tips: U should be the guy who had talked the most in GD but care should be taken not to dominate it. Try to tell maximum number of points and try to exhaust all the points when you get your first opportunity.
Duration: 8 minutes

Round: Interview
Experience: They were just checking whether you have the necessary communication and managerial skills and how well you handle the stresses of interview.
Tips: Being thorough with the nooks and corner of your resume and keeping your head cool alone will ensure you get shortlisted.

Experience: Technical lasting around 45-50 min .Technical round will cover up all the profile related questions. Many questions on C and algorithms, microcontrollers and a puzzle.Be ready to be grilled on your internships and projects. Expect basic design concept based questions or core mechanical stuff. (Depends on your Department. So please revise the respective stuff!)

Experience: HR round had normal stuff like Why Bosch? , Higher studies, achievements, Bosch's current work etc.
Tips: Please go through their website and have some knowledge about their ongoing work.Surf through all the courses and get your concepts right. Have a look at KDOMS.Stress/Strain equations, engineering drawing, IC engines, Thermodynamics, FEM.Knowledge of C helps too.
Prepare for questions on your resume and be honest. Participate in mock GD‟s and Alumni interviews.Go through GATE material while preparing for the technical part. Check the material on ftp servers.

Experience: Two part written test. First part was majorly quant and second was based on ship theory and CASDD. The whole test could be cracked if you know maths and your core courses.

Round: Interview
Experience: A 40 minute interview.They go over various questions asked in the test. Like, last year they asked to draw diagrams of the mid-ship sections and the loading curves in the longitudinal direction (buoyancy, weight, shear stress, bending moment)They also grill you on your BTP/DDP.
Tips: Be thorough with you project work and courses.Your approach to the questions matters a lot. Learn your GZ curves well.
