Aptitude Test Round (2 Questions)
Round duration - 120 minutes
First round consisted of 30 quantitative questions, 30 verbal questions, 30 logical reasoning, 10 c output questions and 2 coding questions. If you clear the 1st round then you will get a chance for the Advanced Coding Test.
There were two coding questions,
The 1st question was an easy question based on strings.
The 2nd question was easy to medium level and was based on math and data structures.
The advanced coding round consists of two coding problems of hard difficulty level.
We need to solve both the coding questions, then there will be more chances for qualifying this round.

Interview Round (10 Questions)
As it is an interview for a digital role, a lot of questions were based on digital technologies like AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing etc.
It was a 3 panel interview-TR,MR, HR.
In the beginning they asked me to show identity proof and asked me to introduce myself.
- Q1. Introduce yourself. What was your project?-15 minute discussion on this.
- Q2. In simple terms, explain what Blockchain Technology is. Is Bitcoin a part of Blockchain or vice versa?
- Q3. What is AI, ML and Deep Learning?
- Q4. What is Big Data Analytics?
- Q5. Explain Exception Handling with an example.
- Q6. What is the use of the “finally†block in exception handling?
- Q7. Explain the pillars of object oriented programming namely abstraction, encapsulation, polymorphism and inheritance.
- Q8. Explain Overloading and Overriding.
- Q9. Difference between JDK and JRE.
- Q10. What is JVM?

Professional and academic backgroundAt the time of the interview, I had 0 Years (fresher) of experience. My academic qualification is B.Tech from Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology , Bangalore.TCS interview preparation:Resources to prepare for this interview - I referred to PrepInsta's TCS Digital Course and TCS Interview Preparation Course. Also the coding questions that I had solved in the previous rounds, as there is always a chance of the interviewer asking that.Tips for other job seekers - I would suggest everyone to include Projects. Projects are very crucial. In my interview for almost 15 minutes we discussed my project.
And if you can show them the working of your project it is a huge bonus.
Also if you have digital projects (Projects on ML,AI) then it is also very helpfulFinal outcome of the interviewSelected

Experience: It was my very first company and very first Aptitude and very first Interview .There were around 650 aspirants who participated in the placement drive out of which 250 were selected and i was one of them.
The 70 odd patterns of TCS should be more than enough to clear the aptitude
The cut off is usually dependent on the performance and their requirements
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: It was around 4 in the evening n i was just coming to terms with the happiness of clearing the aptitude.We were asked to move towards the rooms where the technical rounds were going on.After waiting for some time my turn came
Round: HR Interview
Experience: I was Directly called to HR after having to wait for a long time.I must say My HR was a real JOY RIDE.
A Lovely young lady called my name and i went inside
SO THAT WAS MY HR round And it was just a matter of waiting for the formal announcement which finally came at 11 in the night Of course I Became A TCSer
General Tips: My advice to you guys is not to take this for granted(Many who did finally suffered ) Prepare ypur self well and yes be yourself and never pretend to be someone u r not.they'll catch u in no time i promise DO UR BEST FORGET THE REST.
