Got a low-balled offer letter without salary negotiation
Drawing 16 fixed and 1.6 bonus at my current org. when the recruiter reached out to me, I mentioned that I was looking for at least 20L. The interviews went great and every interviewer asked about salary and I gave numbers like 21, 22.
Now these guys released an offer letter without any salary negotiation with 20L fixed and 3L bonus.
I feel cheated, first because there was no honest conversation about money and just because I told the recruiter 20 a month ago doesn't mean I don't want to negotiate that amount.
Second, I am up for a raise next month that will push my base 10% more. There is 1.6L bonus of my current salary that is pending. I would leave that on the table as well.
Honestly, I want to leave my job for any reason. There is no competing offer to make me fearless in negotiations.
Any tips or advice please.
