Better work environment and culture. Teammates are always helpful when needed and supportive. Manager is always appreciate and motivate.

Not giving any extra bonus at end of year. In last 2 years, They cut 30-40% from variable. They releasing a product updates quite often.

Past old good times are history now what is left is Terrible work culture, with no career advancement and job security and terrible work-life balance.

Dislikes

The culture of the company (Zimbra, Pune) got declined and become more inclined towards politics. There was no career growth over the last few years, they started slashing down the appraisal with an excuse every year. Managers in the company take credit for the employee's suggestion and no recognition is given to the employee's efforts. There is nothing much you can learn, there will be no opportunity to participate in design discussions only you will be told to implement something, and it's not a wonder that will be discarded after you have worked for months on that, no promotion and forget about work-life balance. Team change and firing is a frequent activity over here, now when employees have given mass resignation it's sad they are not even able to retain good employees, ultimately for a senior position they are now hiring junior developers. Although it is an OpenSource company the work culture is pathetic like a service-based company and no respect for the Open Source culture even Managers don't know anything about how an OpenSource project works. Not suitable for development roles and for innovative people anymore, probably good for QA Testing roles and Support Staff.
