Everything in Xiaomi during my tenure was great especially the open work culture. Xiaomi gives ample opportunities to someone to take the lead and explore whatever domain you like. I haven't seen any other organisations giving this much ownership to any employee at least in my career. Perhaps that's one of the reason behind Xiaomi's tremendous growth in terms of an organisation. Obviously the food was awesome with unlimited & widespread menu. Not sure what's the current scenario.

...g there. But they followed the same conventional industry standard of appraisal. Which means if your base is low then also you will get the same as usual increment, instead of salary correction. This is my humble submission as per my personal experience. REST EVERYTHING WAS GOOD.

...riendly and our top management is really supportive and very open & transparent. During critical circumstances like Covid-19 lockdown, our MD announced no salary cut or job cut even for contract employee. I can't expect anything more from a private company. At last Xiaomi India being a subsidiary of Chinese brand is more Indian then any other Indian company.

Unfortunately I haven't come across anything that I don't like at Xiaomi India.

Very good and friendly people to work with, nice environment. Small company till now in India but surely expected to grow a lot. Nice team.

Compensation is less. Benefits are fine. Not much Training. Only testing for the phones as of now. Not much for technology people.

People working there are good, You will get the exposure to learn more things.

Dislikes

No work life balance, work even on weekends, so much pressure , stress, low salary , very bad procedures on getting an approval for a creative it takes decades to get an approval so you get stuck on one work for a longtime and everything comes at the last moment which doubles your pressure stress and everything. Only for Brand name you can go for Xiaomi , nothing else benefit you
