New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. ...oney minded person there is no learning and there is individual employee growth. During COVID there was 35% salary deduction and when the post covid in 2022 when the organization grew 3 times than there was 5% hike given to everyone. Rash communication

As a senior Community manager i worked for 9.4 years with out any benefits. There was no justice shown to me wen I walked out. I was so exhausted with couple of employees around because of whom i had to walk out.

Dislikes

The Director Mr. Manoj Khandelwal never gave me a chance to prove I was correct. Staffs booze at working hours but no action was taken when it was brought to the notice by me to the Management. Just a verbal warning was conveyed.
